Marconi Express announces that as of this morning, Tuesday 30 December, the monorail service has been suspended due to a sudden technical problem.
The company, operator and maintenance staff are working closely together and with the utmost priority to restore full service tomorrow, Wednesday 31 December.
During the suspension of the monorail service, the connection between the airport and the railway station is guaranteed by shuttle buses. The shuttle buses have the following departure points:
- at the airport on the ground floor at the arrivals exit;
- at Lazzaretto station in Via Terracini;
- at the central station in Via Carracci.
The shuttle buses are easily recognisable thanks to the “943 Marconi Express” sign visible on the display. Only Marconi Express tickets can be used on the shuttle buses.
Marconi Express apologises to passengers for the inconvenience and assures them that every effort will be made to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
