Marconi Express announces that, on Wednesday 14 October, after the service has closed to the public, a safety drill will be carried out at the ‘Guglielmo Marconi’ airport stop in Bologna.
The drill forms part of Bologna Airport’s Coordinated Emergency Plan, in accordance with safety regulations.
The drill scenario involves the evacuation of participants on board a Marconi Express vehicle stopped on the monorail near the P6 multi-storey car park P6.
Staff from Bologna Airport, Marconi Express/TPER, the 118 emergency service, law enforcement agencies and the fire service will be involved.
The monorail service will be running as normal from 5.40 am on Wednesday 14 October.
